Giveaway Post Ideas

Running a giveaway? Make the post worth stopping for.

A giveaway lives or dies on the first post. Here's how to plan it, what to post each day and captions to start from. Upload your logo and we put it on real photos of billboards, tote bags and newspapers, so the announcement looks like a big deal before anyone reads the rules.

People scroll past giveaways all day

Every feed is full of the same flat graphic with GIVEAWAY in bold and a list of rules underneath. People have learnt to skip it. Your post has a second to show it's from a real business worth following, not another account farming likes.

Your logo on a real tote bag held up against a roller door, or on a billboard above a busy street, looks like a brand with something to give. Pair it with a clear photo of the actual prize so nobody has to guess what they're entering for.

Before you post, read the giveaway rules for the platform you're running it on and check whether your state has trade promotion rules for your kind of draw. Write the prize, the dates and how the winner is picked in plain words, and only promise what you're really giving away.

A giveaway plan, start to finish

  • The teaser, a day or two out: your logo on a billboard with a caption that says something is coming. No details yet.
  • The launch post: a real photo of the prize first, then your logo on a tote bag as the second slide. Put the entry steps and closing date in the caption.
  • A mid-point reminder: your logo on a newspaper held up on the street, with a line like 'still time to enter' and the closing date.
  • Last call: a story with the closing time. Keep it short.
  • The winner post: thank everyone who entered, name the winner the way your terms said you would, and tell the rest what's coming next.
  • Collab giveaways: put both logos side by side on two street posters, one each, so it's clear who's behind it.

Photos that suit you

How it works

  1. Add your image. A logo, poster, product shot or full campaign. PNG or JPG.
  2. Tap a photo. Your design goes on in seconds.
  3. Download it. A 2000px image, ready to post.

Real photos. Not AI.

Every photo is a real photograph, shot on a real camera. Your design goes on exactly as it is. Nothing gets redrawn, so it's still your brand.

Questions

Do I need Photoshop?
No. It all happens in your browser.

Is it really free?
Your first one is free when you make an account. After that, top up credits inside the studio. No subscription.

Can I put the prize photo on the billboard?
Yes. Any PNG or JPG goes on, so a product shot or a graphic with your logo and closing date works. It goes on exactly as you made it. Just make sure the photo shows the real prize.
